I am absolutely thrilled to share with you the incredible Annual Upholstery MeetUp that my team and I put together! The main reason behind this event is to create a sense of community and networking opportunities for our fabulous upholstery enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a DIY enthusiast, our arms are wide open, ready to welcome you into our warm and vibrant community of upholstery lovers.

Every year, it fills my heart with joy to see the familiar faces of those wonderful community members who eagerly return to our gathering. These dedicated individuals truly understand the value of building a strong community and connecting with like-minded souls. And guess what? We also have a wave of fresh professionals and passionate DIYers who fully grasp the importance of being part of this remarkable community and connecting with others who share their upholstery fervor.

Producing our Meetups allows us to mingle with vendors and dive deep into their fascinating products and offerings. Let me tell you, this year’s spotlight vendor was none other than Sailrite! If you haven’t heard of them, you’re seriously missing out. Sailrite and Kim’s Upholstery have joined forces over the years, united by our immense love for this industry. They generously gave us an exclusive tour, allowing us to witness their remarkable processes and even try out their incredible products. And as if that wasn’t enough, they even sponsored a delicious lunch for our entire group! The Sailrite team members were the epitome of professionalism, eagerly sharing their wisdom and answering the myriad questions from our group. And to top it all off, we had the chance to do a little shopping at the end of the day. How marvelous!
Day 2 was all about community and networking.
Now, let me tell you about the delightful twist we introduced for day 2 this year. Typically, we’d plan visits to 2 to 3 vendors in the area, unfortunately, we couldn’t arrange additional tours. So, we put our heads together and came up with a brilliant idea! Since one of the favorite aspects of our annual event is community and networking, we decided to dedicate day 2 to getting to know each other even better. We organized invigorating round table discussions accompanied by a wonderful buffet lunch, followed by an enlightening panel discussion where we answered all the burning questions. I collaborated closely with the committee to curate captivating topics and plan the schedule for this extraordinary day. And let me tell you, it turned out to be a tremendous success! The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received convinced me that we might have set a new trend for future upholstery meetups. What topics interest you?
