I love the upholstery projects that make me smile

Working with a great fun fabric designed by my friend Kristin Nicholas of Kristin Nicholas Designs made this a great and happy project. I was given these two chairs and new that doing something bright and cheerful would suit them well. So I began the search for just the right fabric and came across one of Kristin’s designs on Spoonflower. The color was not quite right but when I reached out to Kristin she said: “no problem, we can tweak it for you”. I then showed Kristin the DIY Chalk Paint line that I had been looking at and she was able to change the fabric colorway to fit the paint colors I had chosen. Having such a creative friend and one who loves color more than even I do is awesome. Kristin has a funky colorful style that can make anyone’s day happy.
