Invisible Stitch or Ladder Stitch
This is such a useful stitch to know. Often times when doing a tear down on an older upholstered piece you’ll find the outsides have been hand sewn on. The stitch used in this application is known as a “Ladder Stitch” or “Blind Stitch”. Once you learn how to use this type of stitch I know you will find many uses for it. The ladder stitch is a very useful skill to know when doing upholstery and many other DIY sewing projects.
