You’ve gotta love a great tool!
I don’t know of any upholsterer that didn’t start out using an electric carving knife to cut their foam. When you are new to the trade you can’t always jump in and buy those coveted tools that you see seasoned upholsterers using. You know the ones I am talking about right? Well a foam saw was one of the tools I wish I had invested in earlier in my upholstery career.
Yes, the carving knife works, but WOW, what a difference a foam saw can make. My cuts are always perfect! The Sailrite foam saw features a double blade, giving you a much smoother cut with much less effort. The base plate on this foam saw keeps my blade upright so I have perfectly straight cuts. My opinion is this great tool is well worth the investment and will save you time which we all know saving time helps you to make more money! When you purchase your new Sailrite Blade Foam Saw, tell them Kim and Bill said Hi!
