Old English scratch cover. Works great for scratches and small chips.

What great stuff. Find it at Home depot, hardware stores, and even in the grocery store. Comes in colors  for light and dark woods. Just wipe it on your scratched furniture and see the difference.  Not all scratches will vanish but they will look much less noticeable. If the legs or arms on your furniture have little chips, sand them smooth and apply scratch  cover. It will give them an antique or used look. It will not dry on finished surfaces like shellac or urethane , so give it time on the bare wood  then wipe off the excess.
