Learn How to Measure Furniture to Make Arm Covers

I will create a template to mimic the shape of the arm front. We will be creating an arm cover with no cording, but you could easily add cording to the front seam of your arm cover if you wish.

Run Time: 15 mins

Supplies:

  • Fabric matching your project
  • Matching Thread (I use #69 Bonded Nylon)

Tools:

  • Sewing machine (I use a Jukie DNU 1541s Walking foot machine)
  • Serger or Overlock stitch is optional
  • Cloth Tape Measure
  • Note paper
  • Writing utensil
  • 24” Ruler or yardstick
