A few months ago Kim was asked to co-chair a committee to host the first ever Window Covering Association Of America National convention. A national convention is something that has been on Kims mind for a many years now, so of course she jumped at the opportunity. Working with Jenna Abbott , Jill Robson , Ronica Hill Vangelder and Karen Lander, a venue was selected, prices were negotiated , and all information was presented to the members of the board of directors of the WCAA. A vote was taken and a unanimous “Green Light” was returned.

Kim will now be working to enroll vendors for the conference,which will be held September 7 – 10 2011 at the Galt House Hotel & Suites in Downtown Louisville Kentucky.
In addition to vendors there will be speakers, classes and hands on opportunities. I’m sure there will be lots of networking and many new friendships made. I will post more about this as information is made available. Please plan to join us.
