This reversible contrast flange pillow has a unique flat flange detail between the pillow body and the mitered flange. The bound zipper is both functional and decorative.
The bound zipper in these instructions is placed diagonally on the pillow. However, you may place your zipper where you would like. Be sure to keep the zipper within the pillow body and away from the flange.
Once you understand the method for making a bound zipper you may use it in several other projects and place it however you want.
The instructions in this PDF are for a pillow size of 18” x 14” with a 2” flange. Once you learn the technique, you will understand how to adjust the numbers to create projects of different sizes.
