The sides, also called drops when fabricating are adjustable in case you buy a new box spring in a slightly different size than your original box spring. The video also includes worksheets you can copy and print. The worksheets will teach you how to measure your box springs, how to calculate yardage, and how to figure your cut lengths and cut widths for your bed skirt.
